Samahita Thai Fitness Retreats perfectly placed on a calm, sandy beach in the South of Koh Samui in Thailand. There are regular, short flights from Bangkok to Koh Samui’s petite airport and then it’s just under half an hour to the resort. Both the open-air yoga shala and the resort pool face the sea. You can walk straight off the resort onto a lovely beach and calm waters.
Samahita Fitness Retreats are really unique in that they combine core fitness, cycle and yoga into one fitness vacation. You might be strengthening your core with TRX, Bosu and Kettle Bell, enjoying a spin cycle class and later practicing some Hatha yoga and meditation by the sea.
These Thai fitness retreats are superb for solo travellers and groups of friends. Samahita has a friendly, welcoming vibe with a youthful edge. Meals are served buffet style in a relaxed manner and the pool is a great place to hang out and meet like-minded souls. If you’re looking for an interesting workout by the sea, this is for you.
The Thai Fitness Retreats at Samahita are uniquely designed to give you a holistic overhaul. Set on a peaceful stretch of beach on the Southern coastline of Koh Samui, Samahita blends core fitness training, cycling, yoga and meditation.
You might begin your morning with a ‘silent sunrise cycle’ class, overlooking the beautiful Leam Sor beach. Tune in to the sounds of nature and leave feeling energized for the day ahead. If you want to ease your way into the day a little later, then slip into a yoga and meditation session, with an opportunity to balance the breath.
These Thai fitness retreats can be as high intensity or relaxed as you like. It’s your healthy holiday and you have the flexibility of joining all classes or taking a break to enjoy the pool. After a leisurely lunch and siesta, there are afternoon core training sessions, followed by ‘fun-cycle’ classes and restorative yoga. After a vegetarian buffet dinner, feel free to enjoy the herbal steam room and end the day with group meditation.
If you love the idea of the resort but want to focus more on yoga, then check out Samahita Yoga Retreats here.
