Ananda Spa is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas in India, within a hundred-acre Maharaja’s Palace Estate. It is surrounded by forest and faces the spiritual town of Rishikesh and the Ganges. There are frequent flights from Delhi International Airport to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun and then a picturesque drive to the resort in a private car.

Airport Transfer Time: A picturesque 45 minutes from local airport Jolly Grant in Dehadrun

Local Currency: Indian Rupee, Credit Card payments are accepted at the resort

Best time to go: Pleasant year round. March-June are the warmest months and June reaches +35c. July-September are cooler monsoon months and October-February are 19-27c with a slight chill

Children: Children below the age of 14 years are not permitted at Ananda. 14+ years old can take part in other scheduled activities like yoga, meditation, treks and use of the swimming pool. You need to be 18 years plus to use the spa facilities.

Tips: Check with us on clothing, as you may need warm evening wear depending on the month of your visit. Do attend the weekly healthy cuisine cooking class to learn how to cook gourmet Ayurveda cuisine and continue eating healthy at home
