Enquiry

Less than a twenty minute drive from Siem Reap International Airport, the peaceful sanctuary of Amansara awaits. As it’s also only ten minutes away from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor, Amansara is perfectly placed to partake in a spiritual retreat. This also makes dual destination retreats easy in terms of travel and we can VIP you throughout!
These Holistic Healing and Spiritual Retreats can be individually crafted to suit your own interests. Whether you’re a solo female traveller looking to deepen your connection with self or a family searching for a cultural experience with additional indulgent Spa treatments, we can craft a luxury retreat around your wishes.
Our four-night spiritual retreats in Siem Reap include two, privately guided excursions to the magnificent Angkor temples and a very special Khmer breakfast at Amansara’s Wooden Village House within Angkor itself. It overlooks the 10th century, Royal bathing pool of Srah Srang within the jungle and ancient temples of Angkor. You will take a walking meditation through the forest, led by a Master Monk, receive a spiritual water blessing and listen to monks chanting in a local pagoda. Your spiritual journey also includes a forest bathing experience (not what you think!) where you immerse yourself in the beauty of the forest. There is also a fascinating evening talk on ‘Understanding Buddhism’.
Of course a stay in Cambodia, traversing the temples, requires a few indulgent Spa treatments too. This holistic healing retreat includes a traditional Khmer bath therapy (Sras) and a hot herbal compress massage (Sor om Massa). You can also join an ancestral Khmer incense class, used in prayers and offerings throughout Asia.
These holistic healing and spiritual retreats can be enjoyed as a standalone experience or combined with a multi-destination journey, created with you in mind. Combine a spiritual and cultural journey in Siem Reap with the French Colonial, UNESCO World Heritage Site of Luang Prabang in Laos or head to the seaside hideaway of Vinh Hy Bay in Vietnam to immerse yourself in health and wellness.
Top Tip: We can organise a VIP on departure, which means that you have more time to enjoy the experience!
