Four Seasons Sayan win’s Best Hotel in the World
Four Seasons Sayan in Ubud, Bali has just been awarded ‘Best Hotel in the World’ in the 2018 Travel and Leisure Awards. Well deserved we say!
Close to our hearts, Four Seasons Sayan welcomed our friend and mentor, former Buddhist Nun Ibu Fera into the fold several year’s ago. After leaving a monastery in Myanmar, Ibu Fera made the long journey back to Indonesia to experience secular life. Introduced to Soul Sanctuaries founder, Joanne, by the local Buddhist community, she set about placing her into a Spa environment which would appreciate her gift of wisdom and meditation. Four Seasons Sayan was the perfect fit and you can now find Ibu Fera offering life talk sessions, meditation and her now legendary sacred naps. Cocooned within an aerial yoga sling, she lulls guests into a state of deep relaxation.
We’re heading there next month to try one out so watch this space!
If you’re interested in a personalised, healthy holiday at Four Seasons then do get in touch and we’ll create something magical with you in mind. Although Four Seasons Sayan is not a dedicated health and wellness resort, it has one of the finest Spa’s on the island, a sublime, bamboo, yoga platform at the foot of the resort and the ability to create very authentic health and wellness experiences, which can include Balinese Healers and, of course, our former Buddhist Nun. The location itself has an ethereal vibe to it, from the moment you step across the resort platform into its dense jungle setting.
