Best Yoga Blogs to Follow
When you’re not practicing hot yoga, stretching out in downward dog or enjoying a post yoga chat over kombocha tea with your yoga community, then you’re likely scanning for interesting yoga blogs (believe us, it’s quite a task!)
Here are, in our humble opinion, the most informative, fun, best yoga blogs to follow in 2019!
This top yoga blog is an oldie and a goodie, Yoga Basics has been around nearly two decades! Full of practical advice, it continues to bring it with yogic recipes, sound advice on self love and fun quizzes. We love you Yoga Basics and so do lots of yoga teachers!
We love the ‘tongue in cheek’ humour of Yoga Dork blog posts, full of funny wit and wisdom on yoga and more. With titles like ‘Actor Sam Neill gets peaceful with pig yoga’ you gotta listen up. We’d love to join one of those yoga classes!
Love this chick’s vibe (and rainbow hair!) Very insta-friendly and super unique, Kait and her two adorable dogs offer food, wellness and lifestyle advice. Full of good yoga tips, it brings new meaning to a downward dog, we’ve got to get an office dog like that!
The gorgeous Insiya Rasiwala-Finn, globe trotting yogi and partner of Eoin Finn (owner of planet protecting Blissology Yoga) lifestyle blog covers Dosha’s, Ayurveda and Mindful Eating. Published in Asia Spa, Elephant Journal et al, her wise warrior words are soothing for the soul.
A great read, Daily Cup of Yoga blogs on how to alleviate a bad mood through balanced breathing, how to eat mindfully and how not to self sabotage. All great daily advice on yoga and meditation we think!
Although not only a health blog, Mind Body Green has grown into one of the most informed Health and Wellness sites out there. Covering yoga, mindfulness, healthy eating and much more, it’s a one stop shop for all things wellbeing!
Leading Australian health coach Melissa Ambrosini is the picture of health and offers video masterclasses, podcasts and blogs on healthy living, wealth and love. Check out her blogs on “How to Create a Soulful Celebration” and  “How to Hack Your Sleep”It’s a whole lot of yoga therapy for the soul!
With an instagram following reaching over a million, this little pocket rocket is working it with her MG App to Life. Following on from her predecessors in online yoga, her blogs cover healthy recipes, the benefits of yoga, yoga poses and inspirational mindsets for the youth of today.
Long time go to online source of all things yoga, Yoga Journal’s ‘Namaste Blog’ is full of yoga information on poses, yogic philosophy, yoga for beginners, upcoming events and trends. We love ‘The 6 Best Undies to Wear Under Your Yoga Pants’ and ‘5 Poses to Practice in a Cramped Airplane Seat’.
Covering everything to help you live a mindful life, Elephant Journal blogs aplenty. Their yoga blogs cover everything from ‘Celebrities that you didn’t know practice yoga’ to yoga blogs to assist in trauma release. There’s even a blog submission from the heart from our founder Joanne ‘Our Greatest Lessons in Life Come From Pain Not Pleasure’
