Recently singer John Legend and Chrissy Teigen enjoyed getting their fit bodies back with Fitness Expert Amy Buck, when they stayed at one of our favourites luxury wellness retreats COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali. Teigen called Amy “The most patient human in the world”..

“We had the most beautiful, wonderful time in Bali. Como Shambhala, my body and mind have never felt so clear. Thank you for getting me to move again (first time since I was 8 months pregnant and Luna is ummmm 15 months old) and giving me some much-needed body and nutrition schooling!” said Teigen in an Instagram post.

My oh my, did I crash this morning. Woke up at 4.50 and thought ‘let’s meditate’ then small-fry comes in 2 minutes later. After cuddling him in and then 3 hours of play, I felt like I couldn’t walk. Weird feeling, not heavy in the body, quite the opposite, but like my body totally put the brakes on.

Thank goodness I woke up at 5.30am today, really couldn’t raise my head though but eventually managed a short meditation in bed. Today has been much more easy breezy for me. I honestly thought that I would lose my marbles not eating for this long but I feel calmer and more lucid than I have in ages. That said, I think the world would be a sad place if a tablet replaced food.

Woke up at 4.30am again, weird as not feeling hungry. Meditated but I’m feeling very numb and a bit hollow. The thoughts were there, which I usually allow to drift away but they seemed to run around my brain going nowhere. Energy ok in the morning and I learned to keep some of yesterday’s coconut juice for the cleansing drink panacea today!

Woke up at 4.45am feeling pretty alert and amazed that I’m not feeling hungry at all, considering the fact that I love food and eat often. Try not to think that I’m starting the day drinking that bland cleansing drink. I learned something yesterday. When you drink that have some coconut juice nearby to sip in-between slurps and then its fine!

Got the colema board delivered on Saturday on loan (I’ve aptly named it the sh*t machine). It’s basically a home enema kit and I’m told that I should relax and light some incense, put some nice music on and pop this tube where the sun don’t shine. We reckon most of our guests will opt for the colonic instead but I’m trying it anyway!

If you’re doing this detox with your partner around I hope they know you well. Mine’s away which I think was a good thing yesterday (v gassy!).

The one where you go out shopping all virtuosly and come back feeling proud of all the gorgeous fruit and vegetables you have in the fridge…until you hit around 7.30pm and you have the evening munchies and there’s nothing (and I mean nothing) palatable in your fridge to eat.
